THE BRONX - Four people were injured when a car slammed into a storefront on East 138th Street Friday.

Police say a car swerved out of control, jumped the curb and then hit Cyber Electronics Store around 6:30 p.m.

Witnesses say a man was behind the car’s wheel as several others pushed it — because it seemed to have broken down a block away. Police did not immediately confirm that account of events.

News 12 has been told that the driver is being questioned at the 45th Precinct.

Officials say that all four people who were injured are recovering at the hospital.

They also say a dog was killed during the crash.
