The young victim was bitten multiple times on Webster Avenue Sunday afternoon.

THE BRONX - A 4-year-old Bronx girl is recovering after being attacked by a dog.

According to witnesses, the pit bull bit the girl's leg multiple times on Webster Avenue, near Morrisania, Sunday afternoon. They say the owner tried to stop the dog, but was unable to get control.

The young victim was rushed to the hospital by police.
