WILLIAMSBRIDGE - Police say a massive drug-ring bust in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx has resulted in a 135-count indictment involving 40 people.
Investigators say a two-year investigation resulting in more than 50 drug sales to undercover officers yielded the major bust. They say the ring was netting an estimated $250,000 per week from crack and cocaine.
Authorities say they've seized 36 ounces of narcotics, three cars, a handgun and about $67,000 in cash.
The Bronx District Attorney's Office says Sean Nelson and Jason Weir were the ring leaders of the group. If convicted, both could face life in prison.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
