THE BRONX - Police say a man is in stable condition after being hit by a car on the Major Deegan Expressway Wednesday.
It happened on the Bronx-Westchester boarder near the East 233rd Street exit ramp around 3 a.m.
Police say the 40-year-old man attempted to cross the expressway when a car traveling southbound hit him. The man was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, and he is listed in stable condition.
