5 hospitalized after Bronx fire rescue

MORRIS HEIGHTS - (AP) - Firefighters rescued several children from a burning apartment building Sunday in Morris Heights.

The blaze happened at 4567 West Tremont Ave., sending the three children to the hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation.

Authorities say a man and woman believed to be their parents were also hospitalized with more serious injuries.

The man was in critical condition.
