THE BRONX - Five young men have hit the city with a $10 million lawsuit for false arrest after they were taken into custody during a snowball fight.

The men, ages 15 to 22, say they were playing in the snow on Nelson Avenue when a plainclothes officer was accidentally hit by a snowball. They say the man suddenly pulled out a gun and told them to get on the ground.

According to the NYPD, the officer was chased by the men and identified himself as a cop before drawing his weapon. Surveillance cameras were present outside the building where the incident occurred, but lawyers say those tapes have disappeared.

The men have been charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
