THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt for five men following a home invasion robbery in which one of them pretended to be a cop.

According to investigators, one of the suspects knocked on an apartment door near Orloff Avenue and Cannon Place on Dec. 9, and claimed to be an officer. When the door opened, four Hispanic men wearing ski masks allegedly rushed inside, tied up two victims and stole property.

All five suspects fled the scene on foot, and no one was injured.

Police warn that you should ask a lot of questions and get a badge number before opening the door to someone claiming to be an officer.
