THE BRONX - Police are after five suspects who appear to be targeting Bronx women in a string of armed robberies.

Investigators have released photos from the first crime in Parkchester on June 21. They say a man pointed a gun at the head of a 40-year-old woman while a female grabbed her purse, and the others acted as lookouts.

Police say that a week later on June 27, the same suspects robbed another two women. The first holdup was at Sedgwick Avenue and Perot Street, and the second happened at East 173rd Street and Mount Eden Parkway.

Anyone with information on the crimes is urged to contact police.
