THE BRONX - Bronx music lovers are singing the blues after a brightly painted, 500-pound piano - one of 88 installed in parks around the city - was apparently stolen from a Norwood park.

It was last seen in the park around 6:30 p.m. Sunday and is believed stolen, according to a Parks Department spokesman. The piano was left under a tarp next to the park's tennis courts in order to not damage it during moving.

The organization that provided the piano, Sing for Hope, had originally planned to donate the aging instrument to a Bronx charter school.
