BROOKLYN - Service disruptions on the No. 6 Line caused long lines and confusion today during the morning commute in Parkchester.

The service changes are due to a two-year multimillion-dollar MTA renovation project. For the next seven months, the 6 train will be bypassing Castle Hill and Middletown subway stations and providing shuttle buses to the nearest subway stop.

The service changes are expected to last until May.

Another round of closures will take place in late spring at Burhre and Zerega subway stops.
