6 teens arrested in assault on detention center officer

THE BRONX - Six teenagers have been arrested in the assault of a peace officer with the Administration for Children's Services (ACS), officials say.

According to sources inside the Horizon Juvenile Center, Joseph Forrester was attacked and severely beaten by a group of 16-year-old teens Tuesday afternoon.

Forrester was taken to Lincoln Hospital with facial fractures. He remains in the intensive care unit in a medically induced coma.
