An elderly man is recovering after getting shot in the leg in Pelham Parkway tonight.The shooting happened at Astor and Wallace avenues at about 3:30

PELHAM PARKWAY - An elderly man is recovering after getting shot in the leg in Pelham Parkway tonight.

The shooting happened at Astor and Wallace avenues at about 3:30 p.m. According to investigators, the man was shot during a dispute between two groups of teens.Police say the 75-year-old man was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with a wound to his leg.

Witnesses say the suspects were wearing dark-colored sweatshirts.
