79-year-old woman, 2 teens wounded in Morris Park shooting on Morris Park Avenue and White Plains Road

MORRIS PARK - Three people, including a 79-year-old woman, were injured today in a shooting in Morris Park.

Police say the shooting happened at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday on Morris Park Avenue and White Plains Road. The three victims were two teenage boys and a 79-year-old woman who police say was caught in the crossfire. 

The 79-year-old woman was shot in the hand. A 19-year-old boy was shot in the leg and an 18-year-old boy was hit in the arm.

It's unknown what triggered the shooting, but witnesses say a group of teenagers started shooting at each other.
