7th annual Make Music New York festival kicks off across city

THE BRONX - The seventh annual Make Music New York festival kicked off today.

The one-day festival features more than 1,000 free outdoor concerts at locations across the city.

The purpose of the event is to expose youth and the community to different types of live music.

There are more than 30 venues throughout the Bronx where artists will perform, including Manny's Boogaloo Crew at Crotona Park.
