Abandoned Throgs Neck house floods neighboring Reynolds Avenue property

A Throgs Neck homeowner says he's dealing with a bad water leak, only it's coming from an abandoned house next door. According to Sigfredo Gonzalez,

THE BORNX - A Throgs Neck homeowner says he's dealing with a bad water leak, only it's coming from an abandoned house next door.

According to Sigfredo Gonzalez, a neighboring home on Reynolds and Wissman avenues is overflowing with water, which is now flooding his own basement and damaging his property. He says the other house has sat empty for two or three years.

Gonzalez says the FDNY was unable to help, so he called 311. He was told that the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) would send someone within six hours, but so far no one has shown up.
