THE BRONX - The leftover snow and ice from Thursday's and Saturday's snowstorms have creating dangerous driving conditions, causing several accidents.

In Belmont, a car was traveling westbound on East Fordham Road, spun out of control on supposedly black ice, crossed over four lanes of traffic, crashed through and destroyed a median and wound up on the eastbound side. Emergency crews say one person was taken to Jacobi Medical Center.

Another accident occurred on the Bronx River Parkway, where an SUV sustained heavy damage.

Drivers are warned to be extra cautious while driving today, as the hazardous conditions pose a serious threat.
