Accused teenage slayer in court today

THE BRONX - ? The man accused of stabbing a 17-year-old last week in Longwood will appear in court today.

Jose Mendez is accused of killing 17-year-old Luz Ramirez. Police found her body wrapped in plastic inside a closet.

Police believe Mendez stabbed the teen because he thought she was having an affair with his girlfriend.
