THE BRONX - Activists walked along Fordham Road today to encourage children and parents to attend an upcoming summit on anti-violence and bullying.

Next week's summit will focus on the warning signs of bullying and ways to deal with being bullied. Neighborhood teens say the community needs the summit to help curb a spike in violence.

The summit is in response to last weekend when 25 New Yorkers were shot within 48 hours.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. on June 14 at Middle School 80 on Fordham Road.
