ALLERTON - Residents in Allerton are slowly getting back on the grid as power returns to their neighborhood. Many homes were without electricity for more than 10 days due to Hurricane Sandy. However, some say they still fear for their safety as cars drive through dark intersections without stopping. People say they contacted Con Edison multiple times, but failed to receive a satisfactory answer. City Emergency Resources
