THE BRONX - Police are searching for a missing Alzheimer?s patient who walked out of Montefiore Medical Center Thursday morning.

The hospital?s surveillance camera captured 88-year-old Eustaquio Alvarez, dressed in grey pants and a black fedora, leaving the premises of the medical facility around 8 a.m.

The family of the elderly man says he never checked out of the hospital. They blame the hospital?s administration for allowing him to leave alone.

The patient?s son and daughter say their father was not taking his Alzheimer?s medication while he was being treated at the medical center.

They also say he doesn?t speak any English and is probably scared.
