THE BRONX - Bronx resident Marvin Cortes is back home for the first time since being selected as runner-up in season 20 of the CW reality show ‘America's Next Top Model.’

After coming to America from Honduras, the Cortes family lived in a tiny Concourse apartment. They prayed for all seven of their boys to be successful.

After being scouted for ‘Top Model’ in a clothing store and actually making the show, Cortes says he dealt with self-esteem issues.

The model says he wants to inspire other people to pursue modeling and show that you can be beautiful no matter where you come from.
