THE BRONX - A Bronx woman received happy news yesterday when her beloved pet parrot was returned after being stolen earlier this week.

Security cameras caught the suspect stealing Ann Marte's pet parrot at gunpoint. The alleged suspect, Darryl Walker, was later caught, but police say he sold the bird.

The parrot was returned to a local precinct yesterday, where he was reunited with Marte.

Walker has been charged with robbery, grand larceny, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
