THE BRONX - The Bronx Zoo is asking residents to help save animals in danger.

The Run for the Wild 5K raises money to save animal species around the world.

This year's event is scheduled to take place Saturday, April 25, with a special focus on helping gorillas.

Registration for the race costs $45 for adults, and $35 for kids and seniors.

The race is organized by the Wildlife Conservation Society,
