NEW YORK - Mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner may be at the center of another sexting scandal, but this time, his wife is sharing the spotlight.

Huma Abedin stood alongside her husband yesterday as he addressed the media about the explicit messages he sent a 22-year-old woman over the last two years.

"I have forgiven him. I believe in him, and as we have said from the beginning, we are moving forward," she said during the news conference.

Bronx residents who spoke to News 12 offered differing opinions on Abedin’s loyalty to Weiner.

"He's trying to gain a political position and it benefits her also if he gets [elected mayor]," said Donnie Walker.

“She already gave him a chance so she should just leave,” said Charlene Millington.
