Apple's newest, savviest iPad hits store shelves

THE BRONX - Tech lovers not willing to wait for an online order instead waited in line to get their hands on the newest and savviest Apple iPad.

The highly anticipated tablet hit store shelves in The Bronx at AT&T, Verizon, Best Buy and Radio Shack Friday.

For $500, the new iPad sports a five-megapixel camera, a slightly faster processor and a retina display with a better pictures than an HDTV. Those willing to shell out more than $600 can also get the new 4G Internet service.
