Arraignment expected for BX child porn suspect

A Bronx man is expected to be arraigned today after allegedly locking a 10-year-old girl in a room and taking partially nude photographs of her.

PARKCHESTER - A Bronx man is expected to be arraigned today after allegedly locking a 10-year-old girl in a room and taking partially nude photographs of her. According to authorities, 68-year-old Jose Malave locked the child in his room at 1165 Pugsley Ave. in Parkchester. They say he then told the girl to take off her shirt and took several photos. Malave was arrested Wednesday night. Neighbors say he and his wife have lived in the community for more than 30 years and that they are shocked by the allegations. The suspect is facing multiple charges, including use of a child in a sexual performance and unlawful imprisonment.
