THE BRONX - An arrest was made in a shooting that left a teenager hospitalized over the weekend.

The incident happened Saturday night on East 145th Street.

Police say officers were approaching a group of people when several gunshots were fired. They say a 15-year-old boy was shot in the back and is now in stable condition.

A police officer's hat was struck with a bullet.

Officers have arrested a man named Damar Morales.

No officers were injured in the incident and none of the officers fired their weapons.
