Arrest made in West Farms fire that injured 6

THE BRONX - Fire marshalls have made an arrest in connection with a suspicious fire last week in West Farms.

Police say the fire was allegedly started by 30-year-old Kristen Nixon, who was living in the building as a squatter.

Arson investigators say Nixon was in a verbal dispute with two women who lived in the basement of that property the day before the fire broke out.

Investigators say she returned to the apartment, poured flammable liquid in front of the door and set it on fire, injuring six people.
