Assault probe shuts down Bronx subway station

THE BRONX - NYPD officers closed off a Bronx subway station today to investigate a reported sex assault.

Commuters say the 174th-175th Street station was unavailable the entire day, forcing them to cross the busy Grand Concourse to jump on the train.

Police say the assault took place about 11 p.m. last night. It is not yet known if any arrests were made.
