THE BRONX - The Bronx bus driver who suffered a brutal attack allegedly carried out by a teen passenger testified before a grand jury today.
Marlene Bien-Aime, 48, was joined by fellow transit workers who came to the courthouse for support.
Seventeen-year-old Steangeli Medina is accused of dragging the bus driver from her seat by her hair and beating her in the street earlier this week.
Prosecutors say the attack was sparked when Bien-Aime would not let the teen bring her pet dog on the bus.
Medina has been charged with assault and menacing. She was released from jail on her own recognizance yesterday, to the outrage of some Bronx transit workers.
