THE BRONX - Assemblyman Eric Stevenson (D-Bronx) pleaded not guilty today to bribery charges.

Stevenson is accused of taking close to $20,000 for his help banning new "adult centers" from being built in the Bronx for the next three years. The bribes allegedly came from the developers of the recently closed New Age Adult Day Care Center and the Westchester Avenue Center.

Stevenson maintains his innocence.
