At least 2 officers, 3 civilians injured in crash

THE BRONX - At least two officers were injured in a crash with a livery cab earlier Saturday night.

The accident happened on Jerome Avenue. News 12 The Bronx was told the livery cab and two other parked cars ignited into flames as a result of the crash.

Witnesses say that the fire burned for 15 minutes before it was put out. No one was in the livery cab or two other cars during the time of the crash.

At least three civilians were also injured in the crash. Of the five injured, one is said to be critical.

It is unclear where the police car was headed before the crash.
