THE BRONX - Dangerous conditions at city playgrounds are going unfixed for too long and city Comptroller John Liu says he's not going to let that slide.

According to a recent audit, it took the Parks Department months to fix safety hazards at Soundview and Noble playgrounds in The Bronx. However, many local park goers say they think officials are doing a good job.

The Parks Department says it's disappointed and maintains that safety is its highest priority.
