NEW YORK - The family of autistic teenager Avonte Oquendo is getting ready to say their final goodbyes.

The 14-year-old will be laid to rest following his disappearance in October, which led to a citywide search that spanned all five boroughs for nearly four months.

The medical examiner confirmed earlier this week that remains discovered along an East River shore in Queens are Oquendo.

The public is invited to pay respects during a funeral Mass at Saint Joseph's Church in Manhattan at 11 a.m. Saturday.
