NORWOOD - After being destroyed in a fire in April 2009, a Norwood bakery is now back in business.

The beloved Bainbridge Bakery recently had a grand reopening at its new location, which is only steps away from the old one.

The bakery, which called its old address home for 20 years, is no stranger to fires. It had to be rebuilt after the April fire before being reduced to ashes again in October 2009, along with several other stores that have yet to be rebuilt.

Old customers are welcoming the bakery back with open arms, saying that they had to travel far just to get fresh bread.Fire tears through Norwood businesses Memory of Norwood fire still burns a year later
