Band from Botswana makes stop in The Bronx

THE BRONX - An internationally acclaimed band from Botswana currently on tour in the U.S. made a stop in The Bronx.

The rhythms of the 10-piece marimba ensemble could be heard through the halls of the Hebrew Home at Riverdale on Monday.

The music tour is not only a celebration of music and cultural exchange, but workers at the home say the tunes also have a healing affect.
