THE BRONX - One local band says they can bring residents back in time through their music on the streets of the Bronx.

Butch Barbella wrote the music for the movie ?A Bronx Tale,? and has a music group called Streets of the Bronx Band, which was the title song of the movie. Barbella, lead singer Art Loria and drummer Michael Prete travel all over the region, resurrecting hit songs from the 50s and 60s for people who grew up in the Bronx.

The band entertains mostly restaurant audiences. Barbella says even though he?s been doing music for 40 years, it never gets old. Audiences love the music because they say it takes them back to a time and place they remember fondly.
