Bargain hunters brave the cold temps on Black Friday

THE BRONX - Bargain hunters were out early braving the cold temperatures Friday morning in the Bronx.

Some shoppers arrived as early as 3 a.m. to get discounted items at Toys R Us. Others waited in the cold for the big sales at K-Mart on Bruckner Boulevard. Some of the hot items this year include HD televisions and other electronics.

Many early bird shoppers say the great savings are worth getting up early for. Others say they head out before dawn to get their holiday shopping done early.
