Bedbug found in Christopher Columbus High School

PELHAM PARKWAY - Students from all of the schools housed inside Christopher Columbus High School were sent home with a letter today informing parents that a bedbug specimen has been found.

Students say those who were supposed to have class inside some of the affected classrooms are now having class in the auditorium instead.

A principal for one for the schools said in a letter that the Department of Education will work to identify bedbugs and have licensed pest-control specialists treat the rooms if a problem is found.
