Bedford Mosholu Community Association wants turn signals at Bedford Park Boulevard, Webster Avenue
THE BRONX - A local community organization is calling for turn signals at a chaotic intersection in the borough.
The Bedford Mosholu Community Association wants the city to install a four-way turn signal at Bedford Park Boulevard and Webster Avenue to cut down on congestion and increase pedestrian safety.
The group sent a letter to the Department of Transportation. A spokesperson for the department said, "Safety is DOT's first priority and the agency is initiating a study to determine the feasibility of a left-turn signal at this intersection."

Some Bronx residents say they have seen some close calls between pedestrians and cars, and hope they don't have to wait too long for left-turn signals to be installed.
