THE BRONX - Neighbors are complaining that a vacant building in Bedford Park houses rodents and squatters.

Neighbors near the building, which is located at the corner of 201st Street and Valentine Avenue, say the area is filled with trash and even a bed for possible squatters. The building has been an eyesore for at least six or seven years.

One neighbor reports that more than $10,000 in outstanding tickets for building violations has been issued in regard to the structure.

The Department of Buildings is sending inspectors in the coming days to figure out who owns the building.
