Belmont garage gives away presents, free food

BELMONT - A Bronx garage is giving hundreds of families in Belmont and Fordham a taste of the holiday spirit.

Pito's Garage on East 184th Street is providing gifts and free food to children in the area, something the garage's owner has done for the past 10 years.

A huge line formed outside Pito's, where two men dressed as Santa Claus greeted the kids.

The owner says last year, the garage gave away more than 700 gifts. Most of the presents are donated by the NYPD.
