THE BRONX - Bronx artist Danilo Peguero has painted 17 doors for his "Doors to the Bronx" exhibit at the Poe Park Visitor Center.

Peguero says he began painting doors from Bronx buildings in 2012. The exhibit has doors from buildings like the Bank of America on Perry Avenue and a door from Montefiore Hospital.

The artist says every door is unique and shows that the Bronx is rich in architectural history.

"Doors to the Bronx" will be on display until April 19, and includes a free event this Sunday.
