THE BRONX - Kids from California are visiting the Bronx to learn about healthy food and how to grow it themselves.

Students from the Hyde Leadership Academy welcomed high schoolers from the San Francisco Bay Area to their kitchen, where they grow the food, cook it and eat it all under one roof.

The students from California are learning to do this at their school as well, so the teachers thought of pairing them up. They raised the money to come to New York to work together and try to promote healthier nutrition.

The California students will head back home this weekend.
