Best of the Bronx: Enrico's Pastry Shop in Morris Park serving up 'cronuts'

MORRIS PARK - A Morris Park bakery is putting its own spin on the 'cronut,' the hot new pastry that got its start in Manhattan.

Enrico's Pastry Shop is now selling its own take on the cronut, which is a cross between a croissant and a donut. Owner Joseph Floriano calls them 'Jolie's Cronies,' named in honor of his 4-year-old daughter, Jolie. Enrico's has cronuts available in 14 flavors, including Boston creme and Nutella.

Floriano says he started selling them last month and the bakery sells up to 1,000 cronuts a week.
