THE BRONX - A former city social worker turned entrepreneur is staffing his painting start-up with veterans.

Harold Swan founded You Point We Paint, which seeks to put veterans to work by painting in their communities.

Tim Parker, an Air Force veteran, is among roughly 10 local vets who work for the company. Some of them had previously been homeless.

Swan says he was homeless himself as a child. He quit his social working job four years ago and started the painting company to hire homeless veterans.
