THE BRONX - The Rehabilitation Center at St. Barnabas Hospital got a special visit this week from a Rockland County therapy dog.

The dog, named Lily, is trained to help people recover from trauma.

The hospital invited Lily from the Rockland County District Attorney's Office to show how animals can be used for therapy. At the hospital, Lily visited senior patients and children.

Staff members at St. Barnabas say the hospital is considering starting its own pet therapy program.
