BRONX - Twin brothers that fought together in the Vietnam War are on a mission to save three historic cannons.

Kevin and William Farrell discovered the rotting cannons and a naval deck gun on the Bronx Community College campus while visiting the Hall of Fame of Great Americans.

The historic relics include two German field artillery pieces from World War I, a Civil War mortar and a naval deck gun from the USS Albany.

The brothers say they are determined to save the pieces of history for all those that served. They are trying to raise about $250,000 to restore the historic relics.
