THE BRONX - A group that is bringing back the big band era treated borough mothers to a live performance.

The Buhre Station Stomp Society formed just three months ago, and it's named after the Buhre Avenue stop on the 6 train. Singer Lance Zitron says his goal is to bring this style of music back to the South Bronx.

The band played this afternoon during a Mother's Day brunch at the Clock Bar in Mott Haven.
