THE BRONX - Things are rolling along near one Bronx park that is finally getting new bike lanes.

For community members, white lines drawn on the pavement at Concrete Plant Park represent a long battle to make the area safer for cyclists, and all other park goers.

Neighbors had complained that it was hard to safely walk or bike without getting hit by drivers on the nearby Sheridan Expressway.

Residents say they're excited to see progress being made on the lanes, and can't wait for the entire project to be complete.
